We had a smashing Easter stay at the house in Portsmouth! the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the train station and there were buses and trains available to get around easily. the house itself was well-furnished and equipped, with a large kitchen that had thoughtful extras. We loved the comfortable beds and the bathroom was great too. Plus, the communication from the hosts was excellent, making our stay stress-free.
If we had to be picky, the curtains in one bedroom were too light, so bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to sunlight. We also found the noise from the nearby station a bit bothersome when we had the windows open.

We had an amazing stay at Little Connaught House! The cozy and well-equipped accommodation provided everything we needed for a stress-free break. The attention to detail was impeccable, with thoughtful extras like basic foodstuffs and emergency bathroom supplies. The location was great, with nearby shops and a train station just a few minutes away. The train ride to the main town and attractions was quick and affordable. Despite being close to the railway line, the house was surprisingly peaceful, allowing us to sleep with the window open. We also loved the little garden where we could relax. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The property was very spacious and had a lovely enclosed garden, which was perfect for our dogs during our Christmas stay. the owners even provided a bottle of water and milk in the fridge, which was a nice touch. the towels and bedding were clean and fresh, and there were plenty of tea towels and cleaning products available.
The parking situation was a bit problematic as there was limited space outside the house. Although parking permits were provided inside the property, it would have been more convenient to have dedicated parking spaces.

Exceptionally clean and well-equipped property with spacious bedrooms. Lovely welcoming touches, including a bottle of wine, milk, and a toy for our dog. - Minimal noise from the nearby railway station, trains seemed to stop overnight. - Convenient parking on the street, though late-night parking required a short walk.
Felt cared for, nothing to complain about.

The check-in process was super easy with the key box, and the location was fantastic with street parking and the train station right behind the property. It made it so convenient to explore the city and even take a day trip to London if needed. the beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the kitchen was fabulous. It had everything we needed to cook our own meals if we didn't feel like eating out. the stay was a breeze and I would definitely stay here again.
There were a couple of minor things that could have been improved. One, the drainer in the kitchen could have been bigger for washing up.

The location was excellent, with a train station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area. The house was well equipped, with basic cooking equipment and provisions provided. The communication from the host was quick and helpful, making our stay stress-free.
The stairs leading up to the bedrooms were extremely steep and could be difficult to climb, especially for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the house was starting to show signs of wear and tear, but it did not significantly impact our overall comfort during our stay.
